Earlier this week we went down to Waterland at Lake 32 in South Cerney near Cirencester. The lake is set up perfectly for open water swimming with buoys marking out a 750m inner loop and then a 1500m loop. The sun was shining and the water was a pleasant 17.4 degrees. We met up with the Passion Fit team who were training there with their coach Tom Ward and captain Boycey.
They tried the POWERBREATHER in open water – some had used them before, some swam in one of our videos, and for others if was their first time. It was good to see how people coped in the cooler, darker waters of a lake environment vs the more controlled environment of a pool.
Thanks to Jo Pendlebury and her team at Waterland for letting us use the facility at lake 32 – what a beautiful place and such a perfect evening too.
Thank you for your blog post. Thanks Again. Fantastic. Darby Tam Lane
